Pete Martin Studios’ Art in Light Wedding Photography offers creative, professional, affordable wedding photography for Upstate South Carolina. We are based in the Greenville, South Carolina, area and specialize in weddings across the Upstate, whether in Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson or Pickens counties.
Art in Light is a collaboration of two long-time photographers and friends: Pete Martin and Robert Bradley. When you choose Art in Light, you never have to worry about experience, photographic knowledge or skills. No matter what package you choose, you get experienced professionals with the knowledge and equipment to get the job done right.How much experience? We have photographed more than 100 weddings in South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and Washington, D.C., and have more than 50 years of combined experience taking photos for newspapers, magazines, sports leagues and corporate clients. About Pete
Pete is a New Jersey native, but he’s lived in Greenville so long he considers it to be his hometown. He’s an Eastside Eagle, attended the University of South Carolina Upstate and for more than 20 years worked for The Greenville News. While editor in chief of the Tribune-Times, The Paper in Spartanburg and Upstate Parent magazine, and copy editor for TALK Greenville, Pete won numerous state and national awards for writing, graphics, design and photography. Pete enjoys wine, food and travel, technology, and volunteering as a coach for the Riverside High School Speech & Debate Team. Pete has been taking photos for more than 30 years.
About Robert
Robert is a native of Pickens County who has been taking photos for more than 20 years. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion for capturing those moments that families can cherish for a lifetime. Robert has won numerous state and national awards for photography, and his photos frequently appear in The Greenville News and have appeared on the covers of such magazines as Upstate Parent and Palmetto Parent. As sports editor of the Tribune-Times, Robert won numerous press association awards for his page layouts and designs. Robert is an avid Clemson fan (Go Tigers!) and enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the United States in his RV, boating and model railroading.
